Michael "Mike" Lensak, LUTCF®
President
Mike has served clients in the financial services industry for over 20 years. His experience goes back even further, however, as he grew up in an “investment/insurance” family led by his father, who was an independent agent for over 40 years. He combines his father’s experience with his own in his practice today, and enjoys working with his clients to help them achieve their goals and to assist them with the ever-changing life situations they face. Mike makes every attempt to make what can sometimes be a stressful process as easy as he can, and to have some fun doing it. Life is short, and he encourages everyone he works with to just enjoy it, all the while being prepared for whatever curve balls life chooses to throw at them. Mike attended both Stockton University and William Paterson University. He holds Series 6 and 63 securities registrations and has earned the Life Underwriter Training Council Fellow® designation.
To say that Mike stays busy when not at the office would be an understatement. Now that he’s no longer coaching his teenage daughter’s softball team, which he also sponsored, or spending time with their lovable Panama the Wonder Dog, he spends time enjoying everything that Andover has to offer. You may hear him touring around town on his Harley Davidson, or find him shanking numerous golf balls into the woods and lakes throughout Farmstead Golf Club. (A believer in giving back to the community, Mike likes to support the local golf ball scavenging industry.) An adrenaline junkie, Mike is a former world class jetski racer who was ranked one of the top-50 riders in the world in the X2 Modified Expert Class and represented the East Coast region in the 1992 Jetski World Finals. He has worked on several homes for Habitat for Humanity in New Jersey and also helped rebuild two in New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina. Oh, and he served two terms as mayor of Andover Township. If you have any suggestions for new activities for Mike, he’d love to hear them!
